2024 Capricorn Full Moon Tarot Horoscopes

Hello, and happy Cancer season, friends! During the Gemini New Moon cycle, I was so behind on writing that I skipped the Astrology section of the previous blog post. One important thing that I skipped is the fact that it’s Cancer season, MY SEASON! I always feel so overwhelmed during Cancer season though, and if you feel it too, check out this post on feeling your feels while Mercury is in Cancer.

With this Cancer season, comes tarot horoscopes and a Capricorn Full Moon on June 21st, 2024. For these tarotscopes, I want to focus on creativity. All zodiac signs are creative, but with this strong Pisces energy on top of the Capricorn Full Moon, I am drawn to Pisces author and record producer, Rick Rubin’s book – The Creative Act: A Way of Being. This book is full of philosophical and spiritual creative advice, as well as grounded and tangible ways of creating more effectively.

If you’re looking for more spiritual guidance and inspiration on creativity, then check out my tarot and astrology offerings. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Shoot me a message and I’ll see what I can offer you at this time.

June 21st, 2024 – July 4th, 2024 Astrology

Capricorn Full Moon

The overall theme of these tarot horoscopes revolves around this Capricorn Full Moon on June 21st, 2024. I don’t often hear the sign Capricorn being associated with creativity, but I’d like to challenge this notion for a minute. All signs are creative. And with that, all people are creative. Capricorns have a unique way of creating that revolves around structure, balance, and working hard until the art is done “correctly”.

In other words, Capricorn artists don’t give up. During this full Moon, we can all tap into this energy and take our projects a little more seriously. If you aren’t an artist, then consider the projects you take on at work, or consider the projects you want to accomplish around the house. Humans work on projects, you don’t have to identify as an artist in order to relate to this message. Get those projects out, and get them done. You’ll feel better once you feel accomplished, I promise.

Saturn retrograde in Pisces

Saturn stations retrograde on June 29th, 2024. Pisces is a somewhat boundaryless sign, while Saturn is the planet of restriction and boundaries. With that said, there is naturally a push and pull here with this energy. This is not to say that Pisces can’t set up some boundaries. In fact, I would encourage everyone to reevaluate the boundaries they have in place at this time.

Personally, I tell myself I’m not going to eat gluten when I’m trying to have a good time. While this boundary has helped my tummy occasionally, I think it’s time to re-evalute this boundary and choose to eliminate gluten all together instead. I’ve heard of people eliminating foods they are sensitive too, and eventually being able to eat them with ease again. Pisces however, has a hard time with restriction and moderation. So rather than create the goal “I’m going to cut out gluten indefinitely.” A more reasonable goal would be “I’m going to avoid gluten for the month of July.” One month of a good tummy reset, may motivate me to eliminate gluten long term.

So focus on your short term goals. Reassess the areas in life you are over indulging in, and dial it back to a moderate amount. Listen to Saturn, and set some new milestones.

Neptune retrograde in Pisces

Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011. I graduated high school in 2012 and I turn 30 next month, so that feels like ages ago. Despite knowing what Neptune in Pisces feels like, I was struggling to write about it. It was Sarah J Maas’s A Court of Frost and Starlight that sparked the inspiration for this next section.

Neptune is dark. It’s a planet associated with loss and confusion. When it comes to artists, this is a familiar topic for us. We often draw inspiration from darkness and grief. Or we draw it from fantasy and things we image/dream about. Sometimes our ideas come from real life, but sometimes our ideas come from otherworldly inspiration and fantastical possibilities. To obtain these ideas, we have to be comfortable with darkness and not quite knowing which direction we’re headed.

Sometimes we start to paint and feel like the colors aren’t working. Other times we start to build and don’t see how the pieces are going to fit. With Neptune retrograde in Pisces on July 2nd, 2024, I encourage you to revisit those dark places where your art once started forming. Sit in the silence and feel for inspiration. Look for the shimmering light that lingers in the void, and trace it. Bring it to life, even if it doesn’t end up fully formed just yet. Maybe it’s form will occur once Neptune stations direct on December 7th, 2024. Or maybe your art will form once Neptune enters Aries on February 20th, 2026. What is meant to be will be.

Mercury in Leo

Also on July 2nd, 2024, Mercury enters Leo. While Mercury is the planet of the mind and communication, Leo is the sign of bravery and courage. This could mean some hot headed conversations, or it could point to you finally having the courage to communicate something that’s been bothering you. One thing about heat, and summertime, is that it’s very active. Don’t be afraid to address the things that have been bothering you. With family and friend gatherings on the rise, you may not be able to help but to call that person out on their bull sh**.

2024 Capricorn Full Moon Tarot Horoscopes

Aries

Aries, you got Leap. You go first. The universe will catch you.

“In the wild, animals must narrow their field of vision to survive. A tight focus prevents distraction from critical needs. Food, shelter, predators, procreation. For the artist, this reflexive action can be a hindrance. Widening one’s scope allows for more moments of interest to be noticed and collected, building a treasury of material to draw from later.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 43)

In other words, open your self up! No excuses. No worries. “Just do it” – Nike. Take that leap and start that business. Take that leap and buy that house. You got this.

Taurus

Taurus, you got Awakening. Energetic upgrades. A new way of being. Integration.

Integration requires adaptation. You have to adapt to new ways of being in order to integrate better behavior. As a fixed earth sign, adapting is likely not your strong suit. You know what you like, so why try something else?

“[Practice] is different from most forms of learning. It’s not reading information and remembering it. It’s more mysterious than that. You wake up one morning, transported to this new reality where you suddenly have more skill than you did before you went to sleep. The body has changed, adapting to the task it was presented and rising to perform it.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 327)

Practicing is spiritual. Integrating new habits and consistently doing them, leads to bodily adaptation and good habits eventually becoming second nature.

Gemini

Gemini, you got Soul Family. Call in your tribe. You don’t have to do it alone.

“There is no right way to experiment. Generally speaking, we want to begin interacting with the seeds, developing our starting point in different directions. We are cultivating each seed, much as a gardener creates optimal conditions to foster growth.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 149)

I’m starting to wonder if a Gemini I know is getting knocked up right about now…or is knocking someone up… On the other hand, if you’re a Gemini, and baby making is off your radar, that’s okay. This 2024 Capricorn full Moon tarot horoscope is for you too.

What seeds did you plant on the Gemini New Moon back on June 6th, 2024? What projects did you start? If they aren’t coming together, now’s the time to experiment. Fu** around and find out. Maybe the ultimate outcome will be expected. Share your ideas with trusted members of your soul family. What if they have some good ideas you never thought of before?

Cancer

Cancer, you got Share Your Voice. Come out of the cave. Persecution. Expression.

“Holding every rule as breakable is a healthy way to live as an artist. It loosens constraints that promote a predictable sameness in our working methods.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 102)

Doing the same thing over and over again is boring. It’s safe, and it’s comfortable, which are themes you enjoy – but it’s time to switch things up.

Go on an artists date. Bring crayons to the park and draw your favorite tree. Pick a random book from the library without reading the back first. Don’t be afraid to push the boundaries of your art. Reach deep down and create something you want to create without fear of judgement.

Leo

Leo, you got Deep Replenishment. Retreat. Rest. Be held.

“Turning something from an idea into a reality can make it seem smaller. It changes from unearthly to earthly. The imagination has no limits. The physical world does. The work exists in both.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 17)

Get lost in your imagination. Create space and time for meditation and day dreaming. Don’t worry too much about noting everything, just dream freely. The meaning will come in due time.

Virgo

Virgo, you got The Ever-Unfolding Rose. Cracked open. It’s happening for you, not to you.

“Art is about the maker. Its aim: to be an expression of who we are. This makes competition absurd. Every artist’s playing field is specific to them. You are creating the work that best represents you. Another artist is making the work that best represents them. The two cannot be measured against one another.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 237)

What more can I say than that? Fu** friendly competition. Poo poo on comparison and trend tracking. Create for you. Listen to the downloads. Look around at what life is giving you. Take life’s lessons and make some sweet a** lemonade already! You know who you are, now show the world.

Libra

Libra, you got Anna Grandmother of Jesus. Seeding the light. Laying foundations. Divine plan.

“Animals, like children, don’t have a hard time making a decision. They act out of innate instinct, not learned behavior. This primitive force packs an ancient wisdom that science has yet to catch up with.

For children, each moment in time is all there is. No future, no past. I want it now, I’m hungry, I’m tired. All pure authenticity.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 122)

Do what you need to do and don’t be ashamed. Take what you need, live your truth. You are here for a reason and the sooner you accept that reason, the sooner you find peace. Release your parents expectations for you and live how you wanna live. You are enough.

Scorpio

Scorpio, you got Trust the Niggle. What is the niggling feeling trying to tell you?

“Any framework, method, or label you impose on yourself is just as likely to be a limitation as an opening.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 367)

How do you feel when you get dressed in the morning? Are your clothes making you feel more like yourself or are they outdated? How do you feel when on your way to work each day? Are you sick to your stomach? Miserable? Excited? How do you feel when you sit in your house? Unsettled? Comfortable? At ease? Note these feelings, then address them if need be.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius, you got Mintakan. Longing for home. Belonging. The original Lightworkers.

“…consider submerging yourself in the canon of great works. Read the finest literature, watch the masterpieces of cinema, get up close to the most influential paintings, visit architectural landmarks. There’s no standard list; no one has the same measures of greatness. The “canon” is continually changing, across time and space.

Nonetheless, exposure to great art provides an invitation. It draws us forward, and opens doors of possibility.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 49)

If you’ve been struggling to stay grounded lately, try consuming old content. When I can’t sleep at night, I turn on old movies from childhood, like Shrek or Madagascar, then I sleep like a baby. When I struggle to think of words to write, I listen to old music that reminds me of past inspirations, and ultimately – new ideas rise to the surface.

Take a break from pushing forward, and consume before you create. Think of home and what art means to you. Then let the creations come organically. Don’t force it.

Capricorn

Capricorn, you got Akasha. Your guidance is divinely guided.

“Inspiration. It appears in a moment. An immaculate conception. A divine flash of light. An idea that would otherwise require labor to unfold, suddenly blooms in a single inhalation. [Inspiration] comes from the Latin – inspirare, meaning to breathe in or blow into.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 127)

Next time you get an idea, stop and think about it for a moment. What inspired this idea? Even if it was some simple moment in time, pay attention to life’s beautiful synchronicities. Look up the meaning behind that dream. Understand the symbolism associated with that weird animal or bug you saw yesterday.

Messages are inspiration, inspiration is divine, divinity comes from a higher power. You are receiving messages from above. Listen to them.

Aquarius

Aquarius, you got Warrior Woman. Have you answered your deepest calling?

On page 174, Rick talks about creative blocks and how it’s important to keep momentum going. When you feel stuck with a portion of your work, skip around it and keep moving. You can always come back and revisit.

Many artists give up when they feel blocked and tend to give up art all together. “What’s the point? The pay isn’t great. Why am I doing this?” Are just a few questions you may be asking yourself…

Don’t get stuck in that rut. Even if the project sucks in the end, finishing will make you feel so accomplished, that the next project will seem less daunting.

Pisces

Pisces, you got Sisterhood of the Rose. Beauty and devotion. Priestess. Mystic. Teacher.

“Many people may seem walled off. But sometimes walls can provide different ways of seeing over and around obstacles.” (Rubin, 2023, pg. 287)

This is reminding me of the wall of negativity people often put up around them. “My house isn’t good enough, it’s too small. My garden is overgrown with weeds and I don’t have time to pull them. Social media sucks. No one likes me.” I’m challenging you to push past the parts of like that aren’t enough.

What’s one thing you love about your house?

I love my big bright windows.

Name one beautiful thing in your garden.

Mine has a cute lil’ jalapeño growing in.

Consider how the algorithm is probably just blocking your hilarious and beautiful content. It’s not that nobody likes you, it’s that they can’t see your stuff.

Look around you. Life is beautiful if you want it to be.

Summary

The moral of the story is, create. Make art. Build things. Finish projects. You, can, do, it. The advice in these 2024 Capricorn Full Moon Tarot Horoscopes is not meant to make you feel like an unaccomplished artist, nor is it meant to make non-artists feel left out. As a human, you are an artist. You have the ability to create great things, so do it already! And share your art and tag me, so I can see it. 🙂
