Coupled with the fact that Full Moons bring full energy, this Full Moon is going to be a doozy. Take this opportunity to get excited about your passion projects again. Get intimate with your loved ones and tell them how you really feel/ what you really fear. Don’t shy away from this watery Full Moon energy.

Mercury Direct in Aries

Mercury stations direct in Aries on Thursday April 25th, 2024 at 7:34am CT. Woo-hoo, Mercury retrograde is over!

Although Mercury ends it’s retrograde, I like to remind people that this doesn’t mean everything will immediately be smooth sailing. Before and after Mercury stations retrograde, there is a two-ish week shadow period where things may feel a little off still. This shadow period is a great time to reflect on the Mercury retrograde mishaps that occurred and learn from them.

For example, Mercury was retrograde in my fourth house, the house of home and family. During Mercury retrograde, I had a few mental breakdowns when it came to my home and the systems I use. I was tired of waking up to chaos every morning, running up and down the stairs trying to find basic things like my fuzzy claw clip. I had enough of the confusion and decided to reorganize my closet and upstairs bathroom. While it’s still not perfectly organized, I now have everything I need on one floor.

During this Mercury retrograde shadow period, I am going to continue to organize my belongings and spring clean my house so that I can spend less time stressing in the mornings, and more time chilling in my zen zone.

Mars Conjunct Neptune

Mars is conjunct Neptune on Sunday April 28th, 2024 at 11:30pm CT. Contrary to popular belief, fantasy and escapism can be great for mental health. Life is intense and scary, so getting lost in a good book, game or movie can help you find unique ways to heal.

For example, I haven’t been able to watch the news in years. I know I should stay up on current events and avoid spiritual bypassing, but every time I watch the news, I cringe at the audacity. The audacity of the news anchors, the audacity of the judgment, and the audacity of the actions people take that end up making them a headline – makes me sick.

With all of that said, I’ve been watching Harry Potter again. Throughout the series, Harry’s truth is constantly challenged as people make up absurd rumors about him and doubt him when he reveals truths about the Dark Lord. Although Harry Potter is not a real person, watching this series over again has showed me that the most important thing is not truth and fairness. The most important thing is friendship and self assurance. Trusting yourself and having a few good people around who trust you, is all you need. Society as a whole will never see eye to eye, but don’t let that stop you from freely moving about the world.

Venus in Taurus

Venus enters Taurus on Monday April 29th, 2024 at 6:29am CT. The planet of love and beauty, is finally back at home in the sensual, physical earth sign – Taurus. When Venus is at home in Taurus, it’s a great time to slow down and take care of the things that need caring for in your life. Care for your plants by re-potting them, care for your friends by picnicking in the park with them, or care for your self by walking barefoot in the grass once a day. Treat yourself!

Mars in Aries

Mars enters Aries on Tuesday April 30th, 2024 at 10:30am CT. The planet of war and action is also back at home in the bold and determined fire sign – Aries. It’s hard to move forward on your goals when Mercury is retrograde/in a shadow period; however, Mars in Aries will have you ready to go, go, go again. Prioritize that Venus in Taurus self care so that you don’t burn out, but don’t sit around lazily and use Venus as an excuse to stay stuck. Mars in Aries is asking you to move forward with intention, plot out your next move, and take calculated action.

Pluto Retrograde

Pluto stations retrograde on May 2nd, 2024 at 1:16pm CT. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again – retrogrades are not bad. Retrogrades are for reflecting and re-evaluating, and with Pluto – the planet of death and transformation, we are reflecting on these themes. It’s also important to note that Pluto is a generational planet. Pluto moves slowly, so we will be dealing with death and transformation in the Aquarian parts of our charts for a long time… until January 19th, 2044 to be exact.

As Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn on September 1st, 2024 it will be our last chance to be present with Pluto in Capricorn themes in this lifetime. Now is a good time to look back on your life since 2008. What major events happened to you, or around you? Aquarius

Looking at the Knight of Swords card, you can see that your noble steed wants you to slow the fu** down, before you burn out.
